WordPress sez: “This is an example of a WordPress page, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many pages like this one or sub-pages as you like and manage all of your content inside of WordPress.”
Where I’m coming from? How the heck am I supposed to know where I’m coming from, much less explain it to all of you? Enough with the origins already…I just knit here.
Now I’m supposed to manage my content. That sounds ominous. Most days I can’t even manage my laundry.

My wife’s a knitter. And a Methodist. Alas, not a blogger. Glad you are.
(Not that I’m looking to trade or anything…I’m happy to be with her. It’s just that I appreciated your ‘I just knit here’ remark and thought, I wonder if you and M would be friends in real life. Not that blogs aren’t real life, and not that they are real life. I guess I think that they are somewhere in between: like they have the potential to be real, but the fullness of their reality is so hard to verify that most people don’t bother. I mean, that would entail tracking down the author traveling from your locale to their locale and interviewing them at length and documenting their existence in a more traditional way. It hardly seems worth it. Bu then maybe we blog to live in that space between virtual reality and reality reality. I saw that you write long posts. I appreciate that.)

Hi there. I found this blog from visiting ravelry for the first time today. I am in search of aussie wool # W47 in Navy Blue and I see that you have 7 skeins in your “stash.” If you are willing to sell, I am really interested in purchasing 2 skeins. Sorry to be posting this as a comment but I have no idea how else to get in touch.
